01 · Story
Md Shahin Khan is a freelance WordPress and Shopify developer based in Bangladesh who builds and optimises websites for dental practices, law firms, and auto service centers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. He has delivered more than 670 projects through Fiverr, Upwork, and a US agency partner since 2016, and specialises in local SEO, site migrations, and Core Web Vitals.
I started out building WordPress sites for small businesses on Fiverr, where the brief was usually simple: make it look right, make it work on a phone, and do not break the thing that already works.
That last part turned out to be the whole job. I learned early that most website problems show up after launch, not before it. The migration that dropped half the URLs. The slider plugin that doubled the load time. The analytics that were quietly counting the owner’s own visits as customers.
So that is the work I have leaned into. I still design and build, but I am most useful when a site has to move, has to get faster, or has to start reporting numbers you can trust. In WordPress I work with Elementor Pro and ACF. In Shopify I work on theme and section code and on custom apps built with Remix and Polaris.
Most of my clients run local businesses. I have built and rebuilt sites for dental practices, law firms, and auto service centers, and that work has a shape of its own: the phone has to ring, the booking form has to work on a phone, and the site has to show up when someone nearby searches. It is the work I am best at and the work I want more of.
Today my time is split between a US based agency I partner with, clients who find me through Fiverr and Upwork, and a Shopify app of my own that is not public yet. Building a product keeps me honest. I feel the cost of a slow page or a broken flow the same way my clients do.
I am based in Bangladesh and work remotely with clients in the US, UK, and Australia. Calls are easy to schedule, replies come within hours, and you see progress every few days rather than in one big reveal.
02 · How I work

Every URL gets mapped before a single page moves. I keep a redirect list, test it on staging, and watch Search Console for weeks after the switch.

I treat Core Web Vitals as part of the spec. Fewer plugins, properly sized images, and scripts that load only on the pages that need them.

GA4 and Search Console set up with sensible events, filtered internal traffic, and clear naming, so the report you read on Monday reflects what actually happened.

You get a site you can edit, a short written guide on how, and a developer who still answers email after the invoice is paid.

Designing and building a Shopify app end to end with Remix and Polaris. I handle the product, the code, the billing, and the app store listing.
