Terms of Using This Site

The ground rules for browsing this website and contacting me. Short, in plain English, and separate from the written agreement that covers any project we do together.

01 · About these terms

What This Page Covers

These terms cover your use of mdshahinkhan.com, the website of Md Shahin Khan, a freelance WordPress and Shopify developer. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms are about the website. The work I do for clients is covered by a separate written agreement, or by the terms of the marketplace we use (Fiverr or Upwork), not by this page.

02 · Using the site

Fair Use, Nothing More

You may browse the site, read and share the articles, and contact me through the form, by email, or by booking a call. You agree not to:

  • use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
  • scrape, copy, or republish the site’s content at scale, other than the normal indexing done by search engines and AI assistants (see the AI reference page);
  • send spam, malware, or misleading enquiries through the contact form.

03 · Content and advice

Helpful, but General

The articles and pages on this site describe how I work and what I have seen work for local businesses. They are general information, written from my own experience, and are not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice for your specific situation. Results described in the articles and the case study are what happened for those clients; your results will depend on your market, your site, and the work you put in.

I try hard to keep everything accurate and up to date, but search engines, platforms, and tools change. If you spot something that is out of date, email me and I will fix it.

04 · Intellectual property

Whose Work Is Whose

The text, images, design, and code of this site belong to Md Shahin Khan unless stated otherwise. You may quote short passages from the articles with a link back to the page. You may not reproduce whole articles, the featured images, or the site design without written permission.

Client names, logos, and screenshots shown on the Work page belong to those clients and are shown with their permission or as a factual reference to work I delivered. WordPress, Shopify, Elementor, Google, and other names are trademarks of their respective owners; using them here does not imply endorsement.

06 · Reviews and case studies

Real, and Presented Honestly

The reviews on the site are quoted from real clients, taken from Fiverr, Upwork, and direct correspondence, with the platform named for each. I do not write or pay for reviews. The dental case study reports third-party traffic estimates for one client whose identity is kept confidential by agreement; the numbers are presented as estimates, not as guarantees.

07 · Working together

How an Engagement Is Agreed

Booking a free call or sending an enquiry does not create a contract. If we decide to work together, the scope, price, timeline, and payment terms are set out in writing before work starts, either in a written proposal you accept by email or in an order on Fiverr or Upwork. That written agreement, not this page, governs the project. The written three-step plan you receive after a call is a recommendation, and you are free to use it with anyone.

08 · Liability

The Limits, Stated Plainly

The site is provided as it is. I do not promise that it will be available at all times or free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Liability for client work is set out in the individual agreement for that project.

09 · Privacy

How Your Data Is Handled

How I collect and use personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10 · Governing law

Which Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If you use the site from another country, you are responsible for complying with your local laws. Any dispute about the website itself that cannot be settled by talking it through will be handled by the courts of Bangladesh. Disputes about client work follow the dispute terms of the relevant agreement or marketplace.

11 · Changes and contact

Updates and Questions

I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. This version is effective from 16 September 2026.

Questions about these terms: [email protected] or the contact form.
